Summary:
The Supply and Maintenance Support will provide logistical and maintenance support by managing inventory, coordinating the distribution of supplies, and assisting in the upkeep and repair of equipment. Ensure that all materials are available when needed, and that tools, machinery, or facilities are maintained in safe and operational conditions. Performs routine inspections, tracks supply usage, maintains records, and collaborates with teams to support efficient operations.
Essential Functions include but are not limited to:
- Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair hand tools, power tools, and jobsite equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools, equipment, and fleet vehicles in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and company schedules.
- Conduct basic fleet maintenance including oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, tire inspections, battery checks, and minor repairs.
- Identify mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools, schematics, and service manuals.
- Calibrate tools and equipment to meet operational, safety, and compliance standards.
- Transport tools, equipment, and materials between facilities, jobsites, or vendors using company vehicles or trailers.
- Secure, load, unload, and properly store tools and equipment to prevent damage or safety hazards.
- Assist with maintaining accurate records of tool inventory, fleet maintenance, inspections, repairs, and service schedules.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT (as applicable), and company safety policies.
- Perform routine inspections of fleet vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and regulatory compliance.
- Assist with tool check-in/check-out procedures.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized shops, yards, and storage areas.
- Respond to breakdowns or service requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean driving record.

Physical Demands:
- Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, twist, and reach.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 75 lbs. occasionally, with or without assistance.
- Ability to grasp, handle, and manipulate hand tools, power tools, and small components requiring fine motor skills.
- Ability to climb ladders, steps, or onto vehicles, trailers, and equipment.
- Ability to work in confined spaces, awkward positions, or at varying heights.
- Ability to sit, drive, and operate company vehicles for extended periods as required.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions involving hands, wrists, arms, and shoulders.
- Visual ability to inspect equipment, read gauges, labels, and digital displays (with or without corrective lenses).
- Auditory ability to hear alarms, vehicle sounds, equipment operation, and verbal instructions (with or without hearing aids).
- Ability to tolerate exposure to noise, vibration, dust, grease, fumes, and varying temperatures.
- Ability to work long shifts, overtime, or irregular hours, including early mornings or weekends as needed.
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather (heat, cold, wind, rain, snow) as required.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment or machinery safety as needed.
- Ability to travel between job sites frequently throughout the day.
- Ability to secure loads using straps, chains or binders.
- Ability to differentiate colors for wiring, indicators, or safety markings.
